Who will be able to operate a credit bureau in The Bahamas?

Only a company which is licensed by the Central Bank of The Bahamas can legally establish and operate a credit bureau in The Bahamas.

Once licensed by the Central Bank, the credit bureau operator will be under the ongoing supervision of the Central Bank

At the outset, the Bank intends to grant a licence to only one operator.
